Damage Deposit
This fully refundable Damage Deposit is a $300.00 fee added to the reservation total. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (10) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met. a. No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay. c. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in dumpster, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned. d. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. e. No linens are lost or damaged. f. NO Early check-in or late check-out. g. The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, the security company employed by Splash.
Age Requirements
The individual making the reservation must be 25 years of age or older, and must occupy the rental property the entire term of the reservation. Singles under 25 years of age are prohibited unless accompanied by parent or legal guardian. Restrictions may apply regarding the number of people that may accompany a parent or legal guardian. Additional restrictions may apply during the spring break vacation period. Chaperoned groups are prohibited. Reservations made under false pretenses may be subject to forfeiture of advance rental payments and/or security/damage deposit.
Maximum Occupancy
The maximum number of guests for Splashs `Wave` condominium is 8. Exceptions will be made for children 2 and under.
Pet Policy
Pets are not permitted in rental units under any conditions and charge a $300 fine if discovered. This is because many of our guests are allergic to pet dander and we must use extraordinary methods to clean the unit after a pet is discovered in the unit.
Rental Rules
Checkin is after 3:00 pm and guaranteed by 5:00 pm (Central Standard Time). Check out is promptly at 10:00am. No pets are allowed in rental units. No RVs, trailers, or boats are permitted. All units are non-smoking.
Additional Provisions
The agent may enter the premises at any time in the event of emergency, but will use its best efforts to give 24-hour notice for normal maintenance or sales inspections. During Spring Break, the unit may be inspected during the course of the week to be sure that the occupants are cooperating with the rules related to excessive overnight guests, smoking and parties.
Cancellation Policy
All weekly stays require a 21 day cancellation notice prior to the scheduled day of arrival, to receive an advance deposit refund less a $50.00 processing fee. There are no refunds for cancellations to reservations not within the specified cancellation period, but every attempt will be made to rebook a future trip, based on availability, and seasonal rates must be considered. This offer to rebook does not expire. Changes to reservations within the specified cancellation period that result in a downgrade of unit size or a reduction in the number of nights will result in the forfeiture of an amount equal to 20% of total charges. Please note that cancellations and/or early departures due to inclement weather do not warrant a refund.
Hurricane and Storm Policy
No refunds will be given unless: a. The National Weather Service orders mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or b. A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest. The day that the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund: 1. Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered, 2. Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten their stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and 3. Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.
Parking Passes
You pick up your free parking pass and wristbands (that will identify you as a sterling guest) at the time you check-in. Renters must display parking pass on the rear view mirror at all times. Failure to display may result in towing of vehicle at renters expense.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside our rental property. If there is evidence that smoking has occurred inside the property you will be charged an additional $150 cleaning and ionization service fee. Please smoke outdoors and responsibly discard all smoking debris.

Cleaning
Renter agrees to maintain the cleanliness of the premises during the occupancy and to leave the premises in good condition upon departure.
Important
If expenses are incurred to repair damage, replace missing items, pay for extra cleaning or other violations of the rental policy as a result of your stay, by signing this agreement you authorize owner to deduct such fees and expenses from the security deposit.
